Blues Rig

Blues Rig is an energetic blues band built around gritty guitar tones, soulful vocals, powerful rhythms, and a deep appreciation for the blues. Drawing from blues, blues-rock, and funk, the trio combines seasoned musicianship with a hard-driving live approach designed to keep the groove moving.

At the front of the band is Kyle Knoth, an Indiana-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist. Knoth brings expressive vocals, dynamic guitar work, and a versatile musical background to Blues Rig. His experience as a working musician and songwriter gives the band a distinctive blend of blues feeling, roots influence, and rock energy.

Chris Elberfeld drives the band from behind the drum kit, providing a steady rhythmic foundation and an energetic pocket. Elberfeld's previous work includes playing drums with Indianapolis-area rock band Permacrush.

James Madelle anchors the low end on bass, locking in with the drums to create the solid rhythmic foundation that gives Blues Rig its weight and momentum.
